Simplify collaboration with clients and colleagues and protect your folders—with ease. It all starts with WinZip®.
It can feel overwhelming to organize an arsenal of folders saved in more than one location. WinZip makes it easy to centralize your files and folders, so you always know where your work is—locally or in the cloud.
Of course, a big part of the organization process is understanding when it's time to delete old or redundant files and folders. You can do this securely with WinZip and ensure they cannot be recovered, thereby protecting sensitive information.
WinZip has you covered.
It's downright simple to share a folder with anyone using WinZip (and they don't even have to have WinZip to open it!). With WinZip's SafeShare feature, you can compress large files and folders into a Zip file, password protect, and share all in a single intuitive workflow.
WinZip’s SafeShare also delivers military-grade encryption (AES-128 or AES-256) to protect your work. You can set a secure password for the encrypted content so that only your intended audience can access it. The best part: you can customize your folder sharing. Share a folder as view-only or enable editing for co-workers & external partners.

Sharing a folder in WinZip is like sharing a file in WinZip. Various folder-sharing methods provide both flexibility and security. You can consider:
Zipping a folder using WinZip is as easy as right-clicking on the folder you want to compress. Then, select "WinZip" from the context menu, and choose "Add to Zip file" from the submenu. It's that easy!
You'll be given the prompt to name the file, choose your compression option, encrypt the folder if you like, and choose the destination for the file.
That said, you can also just open WinZip, drag the folder you want to zip into the WinZip window, configure compression and encryption settings however you like, and click "Add" to create the Zip. Voila!
Remember, WinZip offers more advanced compression and encryption options than other platforms' built-in zipping. It also allows you to password-protect and encrypt the zipped folder for added security.
