To get started, open WinZip SafeShare.
Click the 'Select Files' button or drag and drop your files or folders here.
If you want to add more files, click the plus sign on the top.
Next, click 'Continue'.
Files will be sent as an email attachment or email link.
Optionally, you can change the name of the shared file and encrypt it with a password.
By default, WinZip generates a secure password that's recommended for use.
If you want to change it, click the arrow, and you can set your own password on this screen.
Now, select your desired share method. Click 'Next'.
Here, you can choose whether to save a copy of the shared file or delete it from the cloud after 30 days.
Click 'Share'.
When using SafeShare for the first time, you must connect an email account.
You can choose Outlook, Gmail, Yahoo, Hotmail, or others.
In this example, we'll choose Gmail. This will open your web browser.
Select the account you want to use, then click 'Continue.'
You'll need to click the 'Allow' button to grant access.
WinZip is now authorized to connect to Gmail. Close your browser window.
Finally, select the account you just connected, and click 'Done.'
You're now ready to share.
Enter the recipient's email address and send your file.
You can save your recipient to your list of contacts.
Now that your email account is connected sharing files securely using WinZip SafeShare will be fast and easy.
Great! You can start learning more now that you've secured your files.
